Attorney Richard Riffe -
Cindy, This is fabulous!  As a mental hygiene commissioner I can report that, over the last few years, nearly half of my caseload has become parents (and other family members) trying to save their addicted child's life.  Thanks for this.

Cindy, I enjoyed the video and you know I see the disease of addiction every day. Even in the families that don't want to admit or accept their family member has a problem. Everyone can benefit and thank God for using you.Once we heal our past, we begin to see how it can help heal another. The scars we share become lighthouses for other people who are headed in the same direction.  We cannot save people but we can love them until they become willing to love themselves. The transformation of change can only occur with God's power in our daily lives. - Ray McWilliams - Recovery Point ( former Healing Place) Huntington, W.V.

As the loved one of an addicted person, and a facilitator of "The Loved Ones Group" of Huntington, I appreciate this very insightful book specifically designated for families trying to "fix" the disease of addiction for their loved ones. This book clearly explains the power of addiction and its effects on the addicted person and the family. Most importantly, it describes the way out.- Cary. The beautiful art and words in this "little" book send a "big" message to all who struggle with the disease of addiction.
Powerful words and pictures deliver the solution to the loved ones and individuals held captive by addiction. Having read this book and been moved to tears, I have personal knowledge that this short "easy read" book will help countless thousands as they struggle to free themselves from bondage. - Audrey H. Good Read for any parent
This book is amazingly written and illustrated. It uses three examples of families with addictions and how twisted they each become thinking they are all doing the right thing. It truly will open a persons eyes to seeing what God sees and getting their eyes off themselves being what He can only be for us. I have experienced these same examples in my own life and God taught me if I trusted in him and loved him above all people and things he would take care of all people and circumstances in my own life. This book illiterates this test in all of us through great art work and the words of God from the Bible proven in our lives. This book illustrates putting our children, ourselves, and our spouses before God is a struggle we all can overcome if we put our faith and love for Him first. It also illustrates the moment we do put God above all else, he takes care of what we cannot. A good read for those who have children whether they are addicts or not, it will also prevent you being in God's way with many issues we as parents are all tested by each day.
His peace and love always. - Vicki Gann, inspired writer & evangelist speaker - Love4Love Ministry

Cindy, you left your mark in my life. You don't know, but you teach me more than English skills. You are one of the best person I ever known. You gave me important pieces of advice that helped me a lot. I live now in Montreal and you live in USA but I always remember your words. Someday we have to translate your book in Spanish; it will help a lot of people in Mexico. Love dear Cindy. - Mabel Garcia Ordaz, ex English student of Ms. Cindy, journalist from Mexico.

Those with addiction please buy this book. It is unbelievably cheap and a quick read.
Everyone who has ever witnessed the pain and suffering that comes with spousal abuse or drug abuse or thoughts of suicide needs to listen
to an author that has experienced all of these things. Cindy is an expert and authority on the subject. I recommend that you buy this book and/or give it to those you know that need this kind of help. - Jim F. , retired AEP, now RV traveler, Texas Coastal area.
